New detentions in Ergenekon conspiracy: Final regrets didn't help

In an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office , it was determined that a man who was arrested as part of the Ergenekon investigation and released a month later contacted the families of two victims after his release, saying that the incident was a conspiracy and that he felt a pang of conscience.
DECLARATION IN CONTRARY TO STATEMENT PROCEDURES
Within the scope of the investigation carried out upon these allegations, it was understood that suspicious HTS base records of the suspects were found on the date of the report and after, and that their statements were taken in violation of the statement taking procedures in the study conducted within the scope of the complainants' statements.
In the examination of digital materials seized during the operations, it was determined that there were contradictions between past and current expert reports.

FINGERPRINT DETECTION
In the current examination conducted by crime scene investigators on the chest containing the hand grenades seized during the operation, it was determined that the fingerprints matched those of a person who held the rank of gendarmerie intelligence captain at the time of the operation and was still detained within the scope of FETO .
It was determined that two suspects, who served as so-called police imams and so-called MIT imams within the FETÖ organization before the hand grenades seized in Ümraniye and the ongoing investigations, had the names of some of the people to be detained as part of the Ergenekon investigation on them in coded form when they were leaving the country.

DETENTION ORDER FOR NINE SUSPECTS
Following the findings, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a detention warrant for the arrest of nine suspects.
Six suspects were apprehended in operations conducted in Istanbul, Trabzon, Balıkesir, and Eskişehir. One suspect is currently in prison, while two are currently on the run abroad.
130 cartridges were also seized during the operation.
