Owner of dog that bit students and teacher in schoolyard detained

The incident occurred at around 1:40 p.m. on February 24 at a middle school in the Ihlamurkuyu neighborhood. An owned dog that entered the schoolyard attacked students who were in the yard at the time. The dog, which bit 5 of the students who escaped, also injured a teacher who was trying to catch it. Health, police and municipal teams were dispatched to the school upon notification. Health teams that arrived at the school provided first aid to the injured students and teacher and took them to the hospital. While the municipality teams caught the dog, police teams began working to find the owner of the leashed dog. During the work, it was determined that the dog, which was tied in front of a house in the Aşağı Dudullu neighborhood, escaped by unchaining it, and its owner was determined to be AK. AK, who was taken into custody by police teams, was referred to the courthouse for the crime of 'Releasing an Animal in a Manner That Would Endanger'. The moments when the dog attacked the students in the schoolyard were captured by security cameras.
