The brother who beat his sister is in custody

The incident took place around 4:00 p.m. yesterday in the Sarışık area of ​​Samsun's Atakum district. According to DHA, 28-year-old Mert M. assaulted his 24-year-old sister, MM, after an argument.

After MM used the KADES app, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. They detained Mert M. and took MM, who claimed he had threatened, insulted, and assaulted them, to the gendarmerie station to give a statement.

Mother SM, father BM, and brother MCM also filed complaints against Mert M. and requested a restraining order. While the suspect's questioning continues, it was learned that a restraining order had been issued under the "Law on the Protection of the Family and the Prevention of Violence Against Women."

It was noted that the investigation is continuing.
