The outfits at the tribal wedding were jaw-dropping

Tahir Ağlamaz, brother of Vahap Ağlamaz from the Ağlamaz family of the Digor Tribe in Kars, and Aslı Demir tied the knot in a wedding held in a covered marketplace in Gebze. More than 5,000 people attended the wedding, which featured a meters-long halay chain and a jewelry table set up in accordance with tribal traditions.

The money and gold worn at the wedding, where guests competed with each other to wear jewelry, were counted at a table where more than 15 family elders, known as "toy babaları," sat. It was difficult to fit the money into two large suitcases. More than 5,000 people attended.

Thousands of people attended the wedding, from tribal leaders and members of parliament to NGO and association presidents and businesspeople. Among the guests were AKP Kocaeli Deputy Cemil Yaman and CHP Kocaeli Deputy Nail Çiler.

The groom's brother, Vahap Ağlamaz, said, "We had guests from all 81 provinces of Türkiye and from different countries around the world. We thank each and every one of them."

The wedding ended with a halay dance that continued until late into the night.
