TMSF puts Treasury shares in two energy companies up for sale
Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) has reopened a tender for the sale of shares of Treasury-owned Muradiye Electricity Generation Inc. and RHG Enerturk Energy Generation Inc.
Tenders for the sale of shares of the two facilities were previously announced on October 30, 2024.
According to two separate announcements published in the Official Gazette, the estimated price for the 3.88 million shares with a nominal value of TL 5 of Muradiye Elektrik Üretim AŞ, which is 100% owned by the Treasury in the previous tender announcement, was reduced from TL 2.1 billion to TL 1.80 billion.
In the previous tender announcement, the estimated price for 750 million RHG Enertürk shares with a nominal value of 1 TL, 100 percent of which are owned by the Treasury, was reduced from 6.2 billion TL to 4.6 billion TL.
In this context, the guarantees required for participation in tenders were reduced from 105 million TL to 90 million TL for Muradiye Elektrik AŞ and from 310 million TL to 230 million TL for RHG Enertürk AŞ.
The sales tender for RHG Enertürk AŞ shares will be held on April 8, and the sales tender for Muradiye Elektrik AŞ shares will be held on April 9.
