Two cars collided, one thrown into an electric pole: 1 injured

One person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the Derince district of Kocaeli. The accident occurred on the Taşköprü road at around 18.45.

According to the information received, the Volkswagen car with the registration number 41 RC 230, driven by R.Ç., collided with the Opel car with the registration number 41 K 1587, whose driver is not yet known. The Opel car, which was thrown by the impact of the collision, stopped after hitting an electric pole on the side of the road.

Volkswagen driver R.Ç. was injured in the accident. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. After first aid was given to the injured driver at the scene, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

An investigation into the accident was launched by gendarmerie teams.
