Ulusoy was sent off on his final journey

Yılmaz Ulusoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yılmaz Ulusoy Holding and partner of Ulusoy Denizcilik A.Ş., passed away in the hospital where he was receiving treatment.

A funeral ceremony was held for Ulusoy today at the Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque in Levent. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Presidential Foreign Policy and Security Chief Advisor Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Süleyman Soylu, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality President Ekrem İmamoğlu, former Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismaloğlu, as well as Demiören Holding Chairman of the Board Yıldırım Demirören, his wife Revna Demirören, Demirören Holding Vice Chairman of the Board Meltem Demirören, Demirören Holding Board Members Sinan Oktay, Erdoğan Demirören and Cemal Demirören, Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç, Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Özbek and artist Orhan Gencebay.

Ulusoy's body was buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery following the funeral prayer held after the noon prayer.
