Villagers resist TOKİ's 'sewage water'! Tanal reacts strongly to the environmental disaster

Republican People's Party (CHP) Şanlıurfa Deputy Mahmut Tanal reacted to the situation by stating that the sewage from TOKİ residences in Çoğan village of Birecik wanted to be discharged into the clean drinking water dam of Bentbahçesi village.
Tanal said the following in his post on his social media account:
“It is unacceptable that the sewage from TOKİ residences in Şanlıurfa Birecik Çoğan village is intended to be discharged into the clean drinking water dam of Bentbahçesi village.
This practice is a clear violation of the right to live in a healthy environment, guaranteed by Article 56 of the Constitution. Our villagers are demonstrating a justified resistance to protect both their health and their future. However, it is a grave injustice that they are forced to continue this struggle alone.
The duty of the political power is to protect the health and living spaces of its citizens, not to pollute the waters of our villages for the sake of profit and short-term solutions. Discharging sewage into dams not only threatens public health but also poisons agricultural production, livestock, and the region's ecosystem.
My call here is: The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Health, TOKİ and all relevant institutions must take immediate action and abandon this wrong practice.
We stand with our villagers, as required by the rule of law and justice. No one can poison the people's health, water, or soil.
