Many events will meet art lovers in Istanbul this week

Istanbul State Opera and Ballet's (IDOB) new production "La Traviata" will be staged on February 26-27, and the opera "Don Giovanni" will be staged on March 1 at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Türk Telekom Opera Hall.

"The Shawshank Redemption", staged by the Ankara State Theatre on February 28, March 1 and 2 at the AKM Theatre Hall, will meet the audience at the "Time Regulation Institute" on March 2.

The Istanbul State Theatre will stage "Lysistrata" at the Mecidiyeköy Büyük Sahne between February 25 and March 1, and "Bir Gün Eksik Bir Gün Fazla" at the Mecidiyeköy Studio Sahne between the same dates. The play "Bir Ruhun Hikayesi" at the Üsküdar Studio Sahne and "Meddah ve Executioner" at the Üsküdar Tekel Sahne will be staged. The play "Hepyek" will be staged at Garibaldi Hall 2 between February 27 and March 2.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) City Theatres will present the musical "Fosforlu Cevriye" at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage and the play "Invincible" at the Kağıthane Sadabad Stage on February 26-28.

Today and tomorrow at Maximum Uniq Hall, "Bald Diva" will be performed, on February 26th "Pride and Prejudice" and "I Wish I Had a Father Like My Father", on February 27th "Dracula" and on February 28th "Chaplin" will be performed.

- Concerts

At the "Barış Manço & Cem Karaca" concert on March 1 at the AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall, the Istanbul State Modern Folk Music Ensemble will perform a repertoire of memorable songs by two contemporary folk poets.

The Istanbul Meydan Meşkleri Ensemble will perform the "Asitane Meşkleri" concert on February 26, and the Istanbul Historical Turkish Music Ensemble will perform the "Ergün Şenlendirici Memorial Concert" tomorrow at the AKM.

The Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra DenizBank Concert will also be held on February 28 at the AKM Theatre Hall.

The CRR Symphony Orchestra will give a concert at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall (CRR) on February 25th, and the CRR Jazz Orchestra on February 28th.

- Exhibitions

Opened as part of the Turkey Culture Road Festival and dedicated to Andy Warhol, the "Warhol's World - Icon of Pop Art" exhibition can be visited at the AKM Music Platform until May 4, and the "Frida Kahlo's Diaries Exhibition" can be visited at the AKM Multi-Purpose Hall until March 23.

American artist, writer and curator Jason Stopa's first exhibition in Turkey, "Interior Monument", can be seen at Sevil Dolmacı Gallery until March 1.

The exhibition "Mirror: Silk Mahya of the Anatolian Sky" can be visited at the Üsküdar Mimar Sinan Gallery until March 10, within the scope of the Foundation Works Inventory Project, implemented by Vakıf Katılım.

The exhibition "Tak Takıştır Yap Yakıştır" by painter İlhami Atalay, winner of the Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Award, will be open to visitors at the Dolmabahçe Palace Exhibition Hall until March 25.

Artist Ahmet Güneştekin's "Lost Alphabet" exhibition, which focuses on the concepts of migration, memory, remembrance and remembrance, will be on display at Artİstanbul Feshane until July 20.

The exhibition "Journey of Colors", which includes a selection from photographer İzzet Keribar's archive of nearly 1.5 million frames, can be viewed at Istanbul Modern until May 25.
