Annual inflation in the Eurozone is 2 percent

Annual inflation in the Eurozone rose from 1.9 percent to 2.0 percent, and in the European Union (EU) as a whole from 2.2 percent to 2.3 percent.
The European Statistical Office ( Eurostat ) has announced the inflation data for the Eurozone and the EU for June.
Accordingly, annual inflation in the Eurozone is expected to be 2.0 percent in June 2025. This rate was 1.9 percent in May. A year earlier, in June 2024, it was 2.5 percent.

Annual inflation across the EU was 2.3 percent in June 2025. This rate was 2.2 percent in May and 2.6 percent in the same period last year.
The lowest annual inflation rate in June was seen in Cyprus at 0.5 percent.
Cyprus is followed by France with 0.9 percent and Ireland with 1.6 percent. The highest rates are in Romania with 5.8 percent and Estonia with 5.2 percent.
Eurostat's research includes EU countries, Iceland, Switzerland and Norway.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TÜİK ), which makes this measurement in Turkey, annual inflation in June was 35.05 percent; according to the Inflation Research Group ( ENAG ), it was 68.68 percent.
