Menzilians' debt to Halkbank is being erased

According to allegations by journalist Fatih Ergin, the Menzil Sect provided a 150 million Turkish Lira loan from Halkbank at 0.99% interest to one of its followers, who owns an advertising company. Despite the company not having the balance sheet to support such a loan, the loan was granted at the behest of Halkbank's General Manager.
HALKBANK DID NOT TAKE ACTION
The company reportedly defaulted on the loan, and the total debt, including interest, has reached 250 million Turkish Lira. Menzil members are reportedly going door-to-door in Ankara to demand the loan interest be written off. It's also been reported that Halkbank hasn't initiated any action despite the debt being unpaid. How the general manager managed to get Menzil's company to extend a 150 million Turkish Lira loan without a proper balance sheet, and who gave the order, remains a matter of curiosity.
