Mobilization for dear friends affected by the fires in Sakarya

The Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to fight the fires that broke out in Sakarya and escalated due to above-average temperatures and winds, is also working to rescue animals in the area. Veterinary teams are conducting search and screening operations in the fire areas. The Paw Print team and the newly formed veterinary team are mobilizing to reach surviving animals in areas such as Geyve Doğançay, Bayat, Taşoluk, Adapazarı Kömürlük, Söğütlü Beylikkışla, and Hendek Boztepe.

The Metropolitan Municipality's statement read, "We continue to stand by every living creature in our city whenever they need us. We are on the ground with our firefighters fighting fires, our social services personnel supporting our citizens, and our veterinary services teams working to care for the quiet inhabitants of our forests. We are meticulously conducting search and screening operations to locate injured animals. With the motto 'This City Belongs to All of Us,' we will continue to stand by every living creature."
