Özgür Özel: The members of the commission are not yet known

Following his visit to Silivri yesterday, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel announced that the conditions for the Terrorism-Free Turkey commission to be established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) have been adopted and that they will serve on the commission. Özel said, "The Speaker of the Parliament is in Geneva. He called our Deputy Group Chair yesterday and told them that the CHP's essential principle of qualified majority decision-making has been adopted by this commission, which will be established by Parliament at his own request. Decisions will be made by qualified majority. He has issued the official statement we were waiting for in this regard, and we can communicate this. Mr. Murat Emir told me, and I am passing it on to you."
WHO WILL BE IN THE COMMISSION?
Following Özel's statement, the names of the commission became a topic of discussion. Speaking on a television program, Özgür Özel said, "I will be meeting with this commission at headquarters tomorrow at 1 p.m.." Noting that the names had not yet been finalized, Özel said, "The list isn't finalized yet. We decided to join the commission just yesterday. I have 20-23 names in my draft, and I'll choose 10. I haven't chosen them yet."Source: NEWS CENTER
