Tuncer Bakırhan visits Hüseyin Aykol, who suffered a brain hemorrhage

DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan visited journalist Hüseyin Aykol, who suffered a brain hemorrhage, at Sincan Training and Research Hospital. Bakırhan received information from doctors about Aykol's condition, who is in intensive care.
Bakirhan made the following statement:
"Hüseyin Aykol, one of the symbolic figures of the free press, who has been pursuing the truth with his pen for over 30 years and is still a writer for the Yeni Yaşam newspaper, suffered a brain hemorrhage.
We visited Dear Aykol, who is staying at Sincan Education and Research Hospital, and took stock of his health. Despite doctors' excellent care, Hüseyin is currently in intensive care due to a severe brain hemorrhage. We hope Hüseyin will fight his way through this process.
We wish Aykol, who has consistently fought against oppression through his unwavering struggle in newspapers such as Özgür Ülke, Özgür Gündem, Özgürlükçü Demokrasi, and Yeni Yaşam, a speedy recovery. We hope he returns to good health as soon as possible. May the tradition of the Free Press, and especially the tradition of the Free Press, be healed by all of us.
