Condolence message from MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli for the deceased Altan Öymen

Altan Öymen , former Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) and also known as a journalist, has passed away. The 93-year-old Öymen passed away today from multiple organ failure following lung surgery approximately a month and a half ago. Many figures in the political world shared condolences on social media, expressing their sorrow.

Nationalist Movement Party ( MHP ) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli shared his condolences on social media following the death of Altan Öymen. Bahçeli offered his condolences to the Öymen family and CHP members, saying:

I am deeply saddened by the passing of former Republican People's Party Chairman and journalist and author, Mr. Mehmet Altan Öymen. I pray to God for mercy upon the late Altan and offer my condolences and prayers of patience to his grieving family and the Republican People's Party. May he rest in peace.
