Fight over dues in Ankara. Manager stabbed to death

An argument over dues in Ankara's Etimesgut district resulted in a fatality. An argument broke out between MD, the building manager, and SD, a resident, at the Çavuş Apartment on Mehmet Akif Ersoy Street, for an as yet unknown reason. The argument quickly escalated into a fight, during which SD attacked M.D., the manager, with a knife.

Following reports from bystanders, police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, teams determined that the apartment manager, M.D., had died. Suspect SD was taken into custody at the scene.

Residents of the apartment building and relatives of the deceased manager claimed that there had been a long-standing feud between MD and SD regarding dues payments, and that the argument stemmed from this. Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
