Five medals from athletes from Sultangazi

Sultangazi Municipality Sports Club continues to make a name for itself both domestically and internationally with its successes. Approximately one thousand athletes participated in the second leg of the Turkish Premier League Karate Championship held in Zonguldak. Sultangazi Municipality, which participated in the championship with 13 athletes, managed to leave the championship with 5 medals.

Nuri Günzüt won the gold medal by competing in the young men's category. Erkan Akköse, who competed in the same category, won the bronze medal. Berkay Bayhan, who competed in the senior men's category, won the bronze medal, Şevval Nur Kuş won the bronze in the young women's category, and Yağmur Nazlıcan Başar, who competed in the U 21 women's category, won the bronze medal by coming in 3rd.

Athletes exceeded quota

Athletes who collect points and rank in the first 32 places are entitled to compete in the Turkish Championship. Athletes from Sultangazi who entered the championship exceeded the point quota and became entitled to compete in the Turkish Championship.
