Hamas' statement on Israel

Hamas spokesman Abdullatif Kanu said in a written statement: "The failure to implement the humanitarian protocol of the ceasefire agreement and the failure to release Palestinian prisoners in the seventh round of the first phase prove Israel's intention to break the agreement and its lack of seriousness in continuing to do so."
Emphasizing that Israel's failure to implement all provisions of the first phase does not serve the process of releasing the remaining Israeli prisoners, Kanu noted that the Palestinian resistance groups "will not enter into new negotiations" on a ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange in the Gaza Strip as long as Israel does not fulfill the "requirements of the first phase" and does not comply with the agreement.
One of Hamas leaders, Mahmoud Mardavi, said yesterday that Hamas would not hold any talks with Israel through mediators (Egypt, Qatar) at any stage before the release of the Palestinians, who were agreed to be released in exchange for the 6 Israeli prisoners.
