The list of companies detected to have committed counterfeit and adulterated products published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was updated as of July 1.

It has been revealed that many companies across Türkiye are mixing offal, equid meat and poultry meat into their meat products.

Additionally, food coloring was detected in tea and meatballs, seed oils in virgin olive oil, offal (head meat) in sausage, and non-dairy fats in butter.

Horses, donkeys and mules are included in the group of odd-toed animals.

The number of products that were confirmed to be counterfeit or adulterated as a result of inspections has increased to 1,391.
