The latest version of the Russian Oligarch's villa was seen

Allegations of illegal construction and restoration activities had previously surfaced at the luxury villa in Vaniköy, Üsküdar, one of the most valuable spots along the Bosphorus. Allegedly owned by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich, the villa has once again attracted attention following the completion of its restoration. The building, which boasts a prominent location overlooking two bridges, was recently completed, and its magnificent appearance was captured from the air.
CHP member TE, testifying as a witness in the corruption investigation launched against Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was suspended from his post as Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, alleged that bribes were paid to the municipality for illegal construction in some villas in Vaniköy. Following the allegations, teams from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change conducted an inspection of the area on August 22, 2024. It was determined that the unauthorized construction had been initiated with municipal permission, and construction activities were halted. It was later revealed that the villa, which belonged to organized crime ringleader Adnan Oktar, was later purchased by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich.
