Turkish warships will anchor in the TRNC on July 20

A submarine and three warships from the Turkish Naval Forces Command will visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as part of the 51st anniversary of July 20 Peace and Freedom Day.
In a statement made by the TRNC Security Forces Command, it was announced that the TCG I. İnönü Submarine (S-360), TCG İmbat Fast Patrol Boat (P-335) and TCG Bandırma Patrol Ship (F-502), combat units of the Turkish Naval Forces Command, will come to the TRNC within the framework of special events for the 51st anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.
As part of the visit, the warships will be open to the public between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on July 20. The statement stated that the TCG I. İnönü Submarine (S-360) and the TCG İmbat Fast Patrol Boat (P-335) will anchor at Kyrenia Tourism Port, while the TCG Bandırma Patrol Ship (F-502) will anchor off Kyrenia.
It was also noted that citizens who want to visit the TCG Bandırma Patrol Ship can reach the ship by sea from Kyrenia Ancient Port.
The visits will provide an opportunity for both the TRNC people and guests on the island to witness the power and historical importance of the Turkish navy up close.
