Elon Musk Announces: "Baby Grok" Is Coming

Billionaire businessman Elon Musk has made a statement about his artificial intelligence app, Grok, which has recently sparked controversy, including in Turkey, with its responses. Musk announced the launch of a "kid-friendly" version of Grok. According to Bloomberg, Musk stated on his X social media platform, "We're going to make Baby Grok, an app dedicated to child-friendly content." Users tagged users on X to ask questions, and Grok also provided inappropriate answers to users in Turkey, including posts containing profanity and insults about various people and topics. Grok's anti-semitic responses sparked controversy globally, and the company subsequently updated Grok, but the app's responses remained largely unchanged. GOOGLE WILL ALSO REVEAL A SIMILAR APP On the other hand, Musk’s “Baby Grok” statement came after Google, one of the companies competing with it in the artificial intelligence market, announced that it was working on a “special Gemini app” for children. According to the Mint news site, Google had reported that the app in question would be designed to help children with their homework, answer questions, and create stories. It was also informed that parents could disable their children’s Gemini connection through the “Family Link” app. Google had previously announced that Gemini, which will be developed for use by children, will not have ads and will not collect data. According to the statement, the app will focus only on “learning and creative expression.”
