Donald Trump claimed in a DAZN interview that the original FIFA Club World Cup trophy is in his Oval Office, stating FIFA officials told him to keep it and they would make a new one. However, FIFA hasn't announced plans for a second trophy, and Chelsea's Instagram showed pilots with the trophy before their London departure.

The interview was conducted on Sunday, ahead of Chelsea 's 3-0 win over Paris Saint Germain in the final of the month-long tournament."I asked, 'When are you going to pick up the trophy?'" the Republican leader said."They (FIFA officials) replied, 'We're never going to pick it up. You can have it forever in the Oval Office. We're making a new one.' And they actually made a new one. So that was quite exciting, but it is in the Oval [Office] right now," he addedHowever, the world football body had not previously announced plans to make a second Club World Cup trophy, while Chelsea's official Instagram page included a photo of airplane pilots holding the trophy — replica or not — before the team departed for London, where the club is based.
