Police searching for Brit missing in Kenya find body of 'strangled man in green sack'

A body has been recovered by police searching for a British businessman who went missing in Kenya.
Campbell Scott, 58, from Dunfermline in Fife, was last seen by work colleagues at a conference in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on February 16.
They raised the alarm after failing to get hold of Mr Scott on his mobile phone.
The body of a man was found inside a green sack by animal herders in the Makongo forest some 60 miles southeast of the city on Saturday (February 22).
Reports suggest that initial investigations show the man was strangled. The body has been taken to a hospital for identification.
Detectives have suggested Mr Scott visited a bar in Nairobi's Westlands neighbourhood a day before he went missing.
He returned to the venue before travelling by taxi to one of Nairobi's slums, Pipeline, on the day he vanished, The Times reports.
Mr Scott was on a business trip and had been attending a conference at the five star JW Marriott hotel in Nairobi.
Interpol have helped local police access calls on Mr Scott's mobile phone in a bid to find out who he was in contact with before the businessman disappeared.
He had been expected to meet officials from Britain, the US and African countries at a workshop to discuss new markets.
Mr Campbell's LinkedIn profile says he works as a Senior Director at analytics firm, FICO.
The company said before it emerged a body has been found: "Fico is working with our local partners and local authorities to investigate the matter.
"Our thoughts are with Campbell’s family and friends. Please respect his privacy and do not speculate about this situation.
"If anyone has information that may be helpful regarding his whereabouts, please contact local authorities or the Metropolitan Police."
The Foreign Office said it is supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Kenya and are in contact with the local authorities.
