Prince Louis's noisy hobby that has him taking after Princess Kate

Prince Louis may be one of King Charles’s grandchildren, but away from the royal spotlight, he is just like any other ordinary seven-year-old boy. As well as being full of energy, Prince William and Princess Kate’s youngest child has a number of hobbies he enjoys.

While rugby is one of the passions the young royal currently has, Prince William did once reveal that his son has another hobby which is very noisy. Like his mum Princess Kate, it turns out that Louis has a musical side to him.

However, rather than playing the piano like his mum and sister Princess Charlotte, Louis instead prefers the drums.

This was revealed by Prince William last year, with the future King making a hilarious quip about his son’s hobby.

During the 2024 Tusk Conservation Awards held at the Savoy Hotel in London, William, 42, told guests: “My youngest is learning the drums – that's why I spend my entire life with my fingers in my ears."

The comment showed that like his siblings, Louis has his mum’s passion for all things music.

As well as his sister Charlotte, 10, learning the piano, it is believed Prince George, 11, has been learning electric guitar over recent years. This was revealed by Kate in 2022, although it is not known if this is a hobby the young royal still takes part in.

As well as inheriting their mum’s musical capabilities, it seems they have also developed her love for sport, with all three of the children enjoying different sporting games.

It has been widely reported that all three of the children enjoy rugby, and have all played football at one time or another.

It is also believed that George has a recent love for triathlons - something he has reportedly been taking part in at school - with Charlotte also being a keen runner.

These facts have all been revealed by Prince William and Princess Kate on royal engagements throughout the years, with the proud parents often revealing sweet insights about their children’s lives to members of the public.
