Fans of Noah Kahan have long speculated about the woman who inspired some of his most heartfelt lyrics. Now, it’s official: He and Brenna Nolan quietly wed in an intimate Vermont ceremony on Aug. 23, 2025.

“We can confirm that Noah Kahan married his partner in an intimate ceremony in their home state of Vermont on August 23rd,” a representative for Kahan said in a statement shared with People on September 2. The rep added, “On behalf of the couple, who greatly value their privacy, we respectfully ask that no additional details, photos, or video be shared publicly unless they choose to do so in their own time.”

Nolan has a professional role tied directly to her husband’s philanthropic efforts. According to The Knot, she serves as the on-site coordinator for The Busyhead Project, Kahan’s charity that raises funds and awareness for organizations focused on mental health support.

Kahan dedicated parts of his 2023 deluxe album, Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever), directly to Nolan. “To my fiancée, you’re the air I breathe, you are everything and whatever is left after that,” he wrote in the liner notes. “I could spend the rest of my life thanking you for getting me through this, and I promise I will. I love you to the moon and back.”

In October 2024, he acknowledged her again in an Instagram post closing out his Stick Season tour. “I was cheered on through it all by my fiancée, by my parents and siblings, my incredible band, my management and the extraordinary crew of folks who all gave 2.5 years of their life to this magical sequence of dreams,” he wrote.

In a rare public outing, Nolan appeared in a group photo shared by singer Kelsea Ballerini on April 29, 2025. The shot showed Ballerini, her partner Chase Stokes, Kahan, and Nolan during a trip to Dollywood. “Best day ever,” Ballerini captioned the Instagram Story, per People.

After nearly a decade of keeping their romance out of the spotlight, Nolan and Kahan wed in a ceremony close to home. Vermont holds special meaning for Kahan, who grew up in Strafford. “I love where I grew up,” he told People in 2022, adding that the quiet setting pushed him to “create [his] own excitement.”
