GMB migrant report sparks fury as humiliated Starmer dealt new blow ‘Absolute farce!’

Prime minister Keir Starmer could face another crushing blow as the Government make a fourth attempt to deport an illegal migrant as part of the one-in-one-out deal with France. This comes after an Eritrean man won a last-minute High Court bid to temporarily block his deportation. Lawyers acting on his behalf raised "concerns about a trafficking claim" and said he is vulnerable and faces a risk of “destitution” in France; therefore, he will remain in the UK after a judge granted him a “short period of interim relief." Good Morning Britain's Jonathan Swain reported that "all week tickets have been booked from Heathrow but so far not one migrant has got on them to be deported.

"Let's just see what happens this morning because there is another flight due to take off at 9:00 this morning." The broadcaster continued: "This Government in the past has been very critical of previous attempts to try to deport migrants; they're now fighting, they're now finding that the laws are preventing them, and they're getting completely tied up in all of this legally."
