Katy Perry Calls Out Fan for Sliding Into Orlando Bloom's DMs
Katy Perry is wide awake to Orlando Bloom's admirers.
The "Hot N Cold" singer jokingly called out a fan for sliding into her fiancé's DMs during her May 17 concert in Las Vegas as a way to introduce the performance of her 2024 song, "I'm His, He's Mine."
In a video capture by a fan that was shared to Instagram May 20, Katy squatted down in front of a concertgoer and complimented their "cute grin" before telling them, "I know why you're here."
"I know. I know," the 40-year-old continued, quipping that she's been aware of the situation for a while now. "You've been doing it for months, ever since the residency."
And Katy went on to playfully accuse her fan of attending her show for untoward reasons, saying, "You didn't come to see me play."
"If you keep on DM'ing my man, I'm going to have you removed," she said. "Seriously, get your own life."
In response to the bit, the concert attendee tried to offer Katy a gift, but the former American Idol judge refused to accept it.
"I don't want it," she insisted. "I'm his. Stay the f--k away."
And while Katy may not be able to trust her fans to stop shooting their shot with Orlando, she knows the Lord of the Rings actor—who she got engaged to in 2019—will always stand by her side.
After all, the "Last Friday Night (TGIF)" singer recently revealed that Orlando was in full support of her embarking on her The Lifetimes Tour, which kicked off in May and marked her first concert tour in seven years.
“I'm preparing to go on this world tour and he understands that," Katy told E! News in January, leading up to the tour's kickoff. "[It’s] just like when you're prepping to do a movie, and some of the movies he's done are even more physically intense, mentally intense than any of these tours.”
And when she's not working towards new milestones in her career, Katy also shared her gratitude for being able to return home to Orlando and their 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
“It's great to have a family to come home to and a whole identity outside of being ‘Katy Perry’ and music,” she said. “I'm really proud of what I created and the time that I have had off because it's super grounding for me.”
