In most cases, I'd say you're the goose in Jeff Bezos's creation of e-shopping foie gras. You're on Amazon all the damn time, whether that's for a new TV, grooming products, or a bird feeder. But you're still being force fed ads and deals, so that you spend a few more precious seconds in front of the computer. But this week the shopper—the little guy, you and me—is in control because all the best menswear is already seeing discounts.

I might even call this a secret sale, because none of these discounts are part of the actual sale calendar. It's just a handful of Esquire essentials on unexpected discount.
