Argos launches rare Apple sale with 'lowest price' confirmed - is it time to upgrade?

It's not often that Apple devices are dropped in price - in fact, it's incredibly rare. However, those heading to Argos this week will find exactly that with the UK store currently dishing out the Apple Watch at its 'lowest price'. What makes this new deal even more enticing is that the offer is available on the very latest Apple Watch Series 10.

That's a device that can track your workouts, monitor sleep, watch your heart rate and perform a medical-style ECG right from your wrist. It also gets a bigger OLED screen that's brighter, and this is now the thinnest Apple Watch the firm has ever made.

Another bonus of the Apple Watch Series 10 is its rapid charging which can take things from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.

Right now, the Apple Watch Series 10 starts from £399 on Apple's website.

However, thanks to the Argos discount that has now been dropped by £100 to just £299.

That price cut is available across numberous colours and styles including Watch Sport Loop and Watch Sport band.

It's a good deal, but beware.

Rumours are rife that Apple will hold one of its usual launch events in September and along with new iPhones, an update to the Apple Watch could also be revealed.

Apple never reveals anything ahead of time, but this year could see new health features added along with an upgraded design.

There's no word yet on when the keynote will take place, but the second week of September is also a good bet.
