Expedia’s B2B Push Grows: Adds Flights, Rental Cars, Travel Insurance

Expedia Group is helpings third parties sell travel — but the company could be creating more competition with itself.
Expedia Group is rapidly expanding its B2B business, which powers hotel booking capabilities for bank and airline apps. The company said Wednesday it is expanding its offering to include four new products: Flights, rental cars, ticketed activities, and travel insurance.
Its B2b clients include Delta, American Express Global Business Travel, JPMorgan Chase, Marriott Vacations, Walmart, Trip.com, and 60,000 others — and now they can offer more Expedia products through their consumer apps.
Clients have been asking for this for years, according to Alfonso Paredes, president
