Lovable is considered the fastest-growing startup in Europe: its AI software enables programming without any programming knowledge.

This means that instead of writing a single line of code, users describe their idea and what they want. They give the AI simple text prompts. This allows entire web applications and apps to be created with Lovable. Founders also rely on Lovable's AI tool to build their startups.

Anton Osika founded Lovable in late 2023. The startup raised €14.3 million in a pre-Series A round in February 2025. The round was led by Creandum. The jump to Series A is therefore quite significant considering the amount of funding.

With the Series A funding, Osika plans to expand its team of just 45 people and further develop the product. It also plans to collaborate with companies like Klarna, Hubspot, and Photoroom, Forbes reports.

Lovable is Anton Osika's second startup. His first was Depict , which he founded together with Oliver Edholm in 2020. Depict develops an AI-powered solution for e-commerce retailers such as Shopify and Centra. Other Swedish AI founders have also been trained at Depict.
