Mike Heiter and Leyla Lahouar: Their wedding will be broadcast live

After two engagements, Mike Heiter and Leyla Lahouar want to get married at the end of August. The spectacle will be broadcast live.
While Leyla Lahouar (28) has to miss "Let's Dance" due to illness, there is better news for her beyond the dance floor: The wedding with Mike Heiter (32) planned for August will be accompanied by cameras and streamed live.
Couple wants to let the community participate in the weddingThe reality couple wants to say "I do" in a very romantic way on August 30, 2025 on the Amalfi Coast. A four-part docu-soap for "Bildplus" accompanies the two during their preparations. "The Heiters: Now we're getting married!" will show, among other things, the engagement party, the search for a wedding dress and the bachelor parties. The wedding ceremony will then be broadcast in a livestream.
The fact that the private moment is shared with many people is not a problem for Heiter and Lahouar: "Our journey began in front of the cameras: We met on TV, got engaged there - and now we want our community to share in our wedding," they are quoted as saying in a statement. They wanted a documentation of the big day that is "authentic, emotional and respectful".
On their Instagram accounts, "Die Heiters" announced the news in a short video showing their engagement on Valentine's Day. It is now finally official that fans will be able to follow "our journey to saying YES" live in four documentary episodes starting in August, as well as "our dream wedding".

Both have been known for years from various reality formats. Mike Heiter appeared on "Love Island" in 2017, where he met Elena Miras (32). The two got engaged and had a daughter. In 2019 they won "Das Sommerhaus der Stars", the following year they separated. Leyla Lahouar took part in "Der Bachelor" in 2023 and was also on "Bachelor in Paradise".
At the beginning of 2024, both candidates were on "I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!" and got on extremely well in the jungle camp. They then became a couple. A few months later, in October 2024, they took part in "Celebrity Big Brother", which Leyla Lahouar won. Before that, he had proposed to her in the TV container in front of the cameras. A second romantic engagement followed on Valentine's Day 2025.
This year, the couple remains strongly present in the media: Leyla Lahouar is currently a candidate on "Let's Dance", and from March 24th, both can be seen in the second season of "The 50" on Prime Video.
