Al Quds Hospital in Gaza under siege: Israeli army blocks access to one of the most important medical centers amid heavy fighting

The Palestinian Red Crescent humanitarian organization denounced this Tuesday that the Israeli army is maintaining one of its most important hospitals in the Gaza Strip , Al Quds Hospital, under siege, without allowing anyone to enter or leave the medical center.
" The (Israeli) occupation forces are stationed at the southern gate of the Red Crescent Al-Quds Hospital in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City, and no one is allowed to enter or leave the hospital," the organization warned in a statement.

The center is located in the Gaza neighborhood of Tal al-Hawa (southwest), the scene of the advance from the south of the Israeli ground operation and where another hospital , the Jordanian (field) hospital, was evacuated on Tuesday.
" We are warning about the dangerous situation around the hospital , which threatens the safety of patients and medical staff," the statement continued.
In addition, the hospital's oxygen station has stopped working after suffering an attack , so the center relies on pre-filled oxygen cylinders that will last three days.
Although Al Quds Hospital remains operational, access to it has become very risky for the population due to the proximity of Israeli tanks.
Armored vehicles are maneuvering through the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, currently concentrating on Al Sinaa Street, Abu Shabak Street, and Tal al-Hawa Towers Street (where the south side of Al-Quds Hospital is located), EFE learned through surveillance in the capital based on the testimonies of witnesses, ambulance workers, and the wounded themselves.

This Tuesday, the Jordanian Hospital , a field center in this same neighborhood established by the Jordanian armed forces in coordination with the Israeli Army, was completely evacuated.
An official told EFE that the evacuation was at Jordan's request, assuring that similar evacuations will not be carried out on a widespread basis for other centers in the capital.
