Art Toy Con 2025 celebrates its third edition with presence in more countries

After two successful editions that consolidated its relevance in Mexico and around the world, Art Toy Con 2025 takes place this weekend in a simultaneous edition in several countries in Latin America, Spain, and Asia, reaffirming its position as the largest convention of designer toys, or art toys, internationally.

In Mexico, the main venue will once again be the Futurama Cultural Center, located in the Gustavo A. Madero Municipality of Mexico City, where thousands of art toy enthusiasts, collectors, artists, and the general public are expected to attend.

GROWTH

The 2024 edition brought together more than 6,500 attendees and expanded its presence to 14 countries, with activities such as exhibitions, workshops, master classes, and sales of unique pieces. This year, the third edition promises to exceed expectations with a larger number of exhibitors, an expanded program, and the participation of national and international artists.

“ArtToyCon is the platform to showcase Mexican talent and creativity. ArtToyCon 2025 will make everyone look at the national Art Toy movement. It's more than a convention; it's a movement, it's a lifestyle, ” said Oscar Uzziel, founder of Art Toy Con and the Vinyles Chiles store, one of the pillars of the art toy movement in Mexico.

ARTISTS

Since its inception, Art Toy Con has united established and emerging artists with a passionate community that recognizes designer toys as a legitimate art form.

This year, talents such as Mr. Mars, New Town HQ, Lxs Gordis, Diana Pirron, El Tesoro del Juguete, Epoxy Crusader, and Meg Toys will once again be showcasing their pieces alongside new figures in the independent art world.

“ ArtToyCon has become a key reference point in the world of art and designer toys, not only in Mexico but internationally. Its existence has been possible thanks to the bonds of friendship and collaboration between artists, collectors, and enthusiasts of this unique form of expression,” commented Hugo Morales Salud, general director of Art Toy Con Mexico.

A WORK THAT LIVES

“ A toy isn't just an object to be stored; it's a work of art to be lived, transformed, and shared. ArtToyCon was born from that impulse: to bring together those who create with intention and those who collect with heart,” added Morales Salud.

Organizing a convention of this magnitude takes months of preparation, coordination, and collaborative work. However, the enthusiasm of the attendees and the growth of the community make the effort worthwhile. What began as a get-together among friends has transformed into a global event that inspires, connects, and celebrates art in all its forms.

It's worth noting that Art Toy Con is an international convention dedicated to the world of designer toys. Organized by Vinyles Chiles, an iconic store with over 16 years of experience promoting this artistic expression in Mexico, the event seeks to showcase local and international creative talent through exhibitions, workshops, and meeting spaces.
