Abinader meets with the King of Jordan at the UN General Assembly

President Luis Abinader held a meeting this Tuesday with the King of Jordan , Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, with whom he discussed issues of common interest aimed at strengthening cooperation and bilateral relations, within the framework of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Through a press release, it was reported that during the meeting, both authorities agreed on the importance of maintaining spaces for ongoing dialogue , as well as the need to continue strengthening relations between their countries in a climate of mutual respect and collaboration .
As part of his official agenda at the UN General Assembly, the president plans to hold bilateral meetings , including with QU Dongyu , Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations ( FAO ).
The head of state will also meet with executives from the Council of the Americas , the CEO of AES Global Energy , and participate in a forum organized by the Atlantic Council.
Abinader will also attend an official reception hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump and will conclude his day with a dinner with Ibero-American business leaders, organized by the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (Ceapi) and the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom.
Luis Abinader began his agenda this Tuesday by participating in the opening of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, led by the organization's Secretary General, Antonio Guterres .
During the day, the head of state and other world leaders began discussions on the global situation, with a view to building common responses to current challenges .
President Abinader is scheduled to deliver his official address this Wednesday, September 24, at 2:50 p.m., where he will present the Dominican Republic 's vision and proposals in response to the major challenges facing humanity.
