Vox demands the closure of juvenile centers from Hortaleza, despite the Government Delegation's prohibition.

Yesterday, Tuesday, outside the Hortaleza First Reception Center in the capital, Vox spokesperson Isabel Pérez Moñino called for the closure of this resource and "all other centers for illegal immigrants" in Spain. The gathering, which was banned by the Government Delegation in order to safeguard the best interests of the minors residing there, was prohibited.
Moñino was accompanied by other Vox representatives, including Rocío de Meer, the national spokesperson for the Demographic Emergency and national representative, at a rally against immigration and in support of the 14-year-old girl allegedly raped last week by a young resident of the Hortaleza migrant center.
During his statements to the media, Moñino accused both the central government and the regional governments of "protecting criminals and abandoning Spaniards," and blamed both the PSOE and the PP for "opening the borders to misogynistic migrants who endanger women."
“Sexual assaults increase by 275%”According to the Vox spokesperson in the Madrid Assembly, since Pedro Sánchez took office, sexual assaults have increased by 275%, most of them committed by foreign men between the ages of 31 and 40 who have arrived in Spain under the protection of NGOs that she has described as "disguised mafias."
"There is, of course, a direct relationship between immigration and sexual assaults against women. We demand the immediate closure of all illegal immigration centers and the deportation of all those who have arrived illegally in our country," Moñino emphasized, amid shouts from protesters who railed against both migrants and the Prime Minister.
This rally, called by Vox, was banned yesterday afternoon by the Government Delegation in Madrid, arguing that it was to be held in front of the residence for foreign minors and that it also entailed a "high" risk of possible disturbances. However, Vox continued with its statements outside the center and managed to gather several dozen people, as well as a considerable police presence.
Asked about this matter, Moñino lashed out at the executive branch for what she considers an act of "censorship" by a "criminal, autocratic, and censorious government." However, she also advocated focusing on the attack itself rather than whether the gathering was banned.

On the other hand, the Vox spokesperson in the Assembly also addressed the assault suffered by two residents of the center last Monday at the hands of several hooded men. In this regard, Moñino emphasized that migrant shelters "generate violence" and stressed that it is still unclear what happened, suggesting that the incident could have been due to "a settling of scores or a fight between gangs."
Finally, Moñino criticized the Madrid regional government, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, for failing to decisively combat migration and for failing to sign agreements to reunite minors with their countries of origin, as has already been done in other autonomous communities.
"All those who enter our country, whose background we don't know, who have entered by kicking down the door of our country, cannot be in our country (...) We have to protect our borders," he emphasized.
