The FBI shuts down the website of a fraudulent travel agency promoted by Vito Quiles and other influencers.

The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has shut down the travel agency website utopiaviajes.com, which was advertised and promoted by social media mogul Vito Quiles and other influencers such as Hamza Zaidi, Sara García, and Berto Pérez, following several allegations of fraud.
"This domain has been seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation pursuant to a seizure order issued pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 2323 by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia as part of a law enforcement operation conducted by the FBI and the Netherlands Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD)." This is what is read when trying to access the website.
Apparently, last Friday, Facua-Consumers in Action announced a complaint to the Cybercrime Prosecutor's Office after several affected individuals contacted the association to report that their money had been stolen without being provided the service offered and that the organization had stopped responding to their messages.
The website offered ten destinations in Spain, 22 international destinations, and four cruises, claiming they had "incredible prices," ranging from €299 to €1,000 per person. Although it featured alleged testimonials from up to 12 different users , it has been discovered that the photos were taken from the internet.
These are "our influencers," according to the company's website. As you can see, they have millions of followers, and their videos don't explicitly state that it's an advertisement, but rather that they found it by chance. pic.twitter.com/ufDjvPfOC2

According to Facua, these "testimonials" were dated 2024, however, both the Utopía Viajes website and Instagram account had been created in May 2025, and all the photos of the experiences and offers were also published on the same day.
In addition to all this, it has been discovered that the company behind this travel agency is registered with the Companies House of England and Wales, despite the fact that the telephone number has a Spanish area code .
Social media users have investigated the case and have identified a Spaniard as the company's sole owner. They also point out that the agency's domain name is not new, but rather belonged to an Argentine company, which was vacated a few years ago.
Facua has indicated that if the Prosecutor's Office launches an investigation, it will be able to determine the owner of the bank account where the victims made the payments and the two phone numbers used by the business to recruit and speak to customers.
