In its annual barometer, the Ugict-CGT notes that engineers, managers and technicians are faced with falling wages and a loss of autonomy, alongside an increase in the number of tasks to be performed.
Since 2024, it has been the largest category of employees in France. Yet, it is invisible, notes the General Union of Engineers, Managers and Technicians of the CGT (UGICT). In its annual barometer, released this Tuesday, May 13, the union organization speaks of " silent dumping" for professions caught between, on the one hand, diploma requirements, responsibilities, and increased hours; on the other, low salaries and management that restricts their autonomy .
