Peugeot, Citroën, Opel Corsa... Stellantis recalls 68,000 vehicles, are you affected?

The manufacturer is recalling thousands of Opel Corsa, Citroën C3 and Peugeot 208 vehicles following the detection of a fault in the cooling nozzles.

Less than fifteen days after the airbag affair, Stellantis is launching a new recall of some 68,000 Citroën C3, Peugeot 208 and Opel Corsa vehicles. On the morning of Tuesday 25 February, near Poitiers (Vienne), the owner of an Opel Corsa said she was not worried: "I trust my dealer, (...) he will tell me if I am affected" , she explained, specifying that she had not been informed by mail.

Affected owners should indeed receive a letter informing them of the recall. Recent cars, produced between 2022 and 2024, are involved. A total of 57,000 Citroën C3s, 2,500 Peugeot 208s, and 8,700 Opel Corsas are affected. This time, it is not a design problem, but a "supplier failure" on a cooling nozzle that could lead to mechanical failure. To solve the problem, simply change the oil and replace the filter. An operation of approximately 30 minutes supported by the manufacturer.
