SNCF traffic disrupted between Bordeaux and Toulouse due to an accident between Agen and Montauban

Following a personal accident this Saturday morning, August 2, passengers are likely to experience long waits on the Bordeaux-Toulouse route.
An accident between a pedestrian and a train between Agen station in Lot-et-Garonne and Montauban station in Tarn-et-Garonne caused SNCF traffic to be paralyzed on Saturday morning, August 2, on the Bordeaux-Toulouse line. Law enforcement responded to the scene of the accident, and the SNCF said traffic should be back on track by midday.
Indeed, on this busy day when stations are packed with holidaymakers, the accident is causing significant delays. At Toulouse-Matabiau station, several trains, including the 8:50 a.m. Toulouse-Paris TGV, were scheduled to be more than two hours late. These delays will obviously affect the rest of the journey. The intercity train leaving Toulouse at 10 a.m. for Bordeaux is also expected to be affected by these disruptions.
