Anticor files a complaint with the national financial prosecutor's office against the National Rally

The anti-corruption association Anticor filed a complaint on Tuesday, July 29, with the National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF) for a series of offenses that could be attributed to the National Rally , its leaders and those who have financed the party in recent years, BFMTV has learned.
According to our information, this complaint concerns offenses of "misappropriation of public funds", "favoritism" and "illegal taking of interests".
Anticor's goal is not to open a new legal front against Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella's party, but to consolidate several cases in the hands of the national financial prosecutor's office, explains the association's lawyer, Jérôme Karsenti.
"The objective is centralization at the PNF, the only public prosecutor's office competent to deal with complex cases, affecting probity and of national significance," he assures.
Before adding: "The second objective of this complaint is to demonstrate the systemic nature of the circumvention of the law and the enrichment of the RN, all pushed by billionaires who, for ideological reasons, want the victory of the extreme right by all means."
The association's complaint concerns the case of loans granted by individuals to the party, handled by the prosecutor's office of the Interregional Specialized Jurisdiction (Jirs) of Paris, another case of illegal financing of the RN's electoral campaigns in 2020 and 2021 involving the billionaire Pierre-Edouard Stérin , handled by the prosecutor's office of Marseille. Or again, the European Parliament's investigation opened at the beginning of July 8 for suspicions of financial irregularities.
