Holidays at Fort Brégançon: Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron have arrived in the Var

The holidays can finally begin.

The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by his wife Brigitte and her daughters, arrived Friday evening in the Var region, at Fort Brégançon, according to information from Gala .

Like every summer since coming to power in 2017, Emmanuel Macron has chosen the residence of the Presidents of the Republic, in the Var, for a two-week vacation.

The presidential couple's arrival was discreet, according to several observers. Only a security presence around the fort attested to the head of state's presence.

The Elysée Palace services have not confirmed this trip, nor have they specified the length of the stay.

It could, as is generally the custom, continue until the celebration commemorating the liberation of Bormes on August 17.
