Labour needs 'sacrificial lamb' after Mandelson sacking – and it could be Starmer

Former Conservative adviser Oscar Reddrop slammed the Prime Minister on GB News following Peter Mandelson's removal. Keir Starmer was brutally torn apart on GB News as questions mount over Lord Mandelson, who was sacked yesterday as the UK's ambassador to the US. It was revealed by the Foreign Office that newly seen emails showed "the depth and extent of Peter Mandelson's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein." Speaking on GB News, Oscar said: "There will have to be a sacrificial lamb in number 10." He also believes that Keir Starmer’s Labour Government "is done" following the scandal.
Oscar added: "This is interesting. That shows that the chance of Mandelson going quietly - I don't think he's happy with Keir Starmer. People were not happy with his hiring of Mandelson. He's getting it from all sides. You've had Sue Gray gone. You've had Angela Rayner gone. All the Mandelson stuff. I really don't want to overcook it, but next time he's in front of the camera, it's going to be really uncomfortable for him. He's had to lie low. The Starmer Labour Government is done now. It's done."
One viewer argued at home: "His first month should have made it hard for him to carry on as PM, but that didn’t stop him making more of a fool of himself and our country. His MPs need to rise up and do a vote of no confidence, or they will or should NEVER work in government again."
Yesterday, Keir Starmer, who selected Lord Mandelson for the role, sacked him after emails revealed the Labour peer sent messages of support to the disgraced Epstein even as he faced jail for sex offences.
