Outlander bosses' major season 8 finale confession as they address multiple endings

The creative brains behind Outlander have dropped a bombshell about the series finale to the hit Starz historical fantasy saga, reports the Scottish Daily Express.
Outlander's chief, Matthew B. Roberts, divulged in a recent chinwag: "We filmed multiple endings. It was important that it not get out what we were doing.
"We were very careful. I knew it would be very emotional. I would say, probably four that went out into the world."
The Outlander production is not alone in its efforts to dodge leaks, joining ranks with shows like Sex and the City and The White Lotus, which employed similar tactics to shield against spoilers.
In stark contrast, although it was rumoured Game of Thrones tried these measures, Maisie Williams, playing Arya Stark, appeared to quash such claims as the series faced numerous leaks and inadvertent spoilers.
Roberts, executive honcho Maril Davis, design wizard Mike Gunn and fashion guru Trisha Biggar playfully hinted at Outlander's finale.
Davis shared with Indiewire her short but potent description: "Emotional, heartbreak, tears," while Roberts opted for a single word: "satisfying".
Eager fans are clamouring for clarity on Jamie Fraser's (Sam Heughan) apparition, which has baffled them since the beginning when he was glimpsed observing Claire (Caitríona Balfe) in forties Inverness.
The team also acknowledged the momentous season seven revelation that Faith Fraser hadn't perished.
The cast of the hit series Outlander were just as stunned as viewers by a major plot twist, admitting that "everyone in the cast" was left flabbergasted by the recent revelation.
Nonetheless, they've assured fans that the many questions will be resolved in the upcoming eighth season.
Outlander creator Diana Gabaldon has previously stated that the television adaptation will follow an altered timeline where Master Raymond (portrayed by Dominique Pinon) clandestinely saves Faith and sends her through time.
The means by which the series will unfold this intriguing development is yet to be unveiled; however, it is evident that the show is now branching away from its original literary counterpart with an ending for Gabaldon's last Outlander novel A Blessing For A Warrior Going Out set to differ considerably.
Both the televised drama and the book series are set to provide various interpretations of Jamie's spectral encounters, much to the fascination of both viewers and loyal readers alike.
Fans eagerly awaiting the eighth season, for which a release date is yet to be announced, can meanwhile indulge in the prequel series titled 'Outlander: Blood of My Blood. '.
This romantic historical drama will take a deeper look at Jamie and Claire Fraser's parents: Ellen MacKenzie (played by Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy), whose romance ignited in Scotland of the 17th century, alongside Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield), experiencing their own poignant love during the First World War.
Starz has added to the anticipation by revealing a teaser video featuring the four principal actors of Blood of My Blood, hinting at numerous fan theories likely to emerge following the premiere episode.
In a brief video shared on the Outlander Reddit page, actor Roy expressed his gratitude: "Hello Outlander subreddit, we just wanted to stop by and thank you all for the early coverage of Blood of My Blood."
Speaking for the team, he added: "I'm speaking on behalf of all of us, we just really can't wait to read your reactions to our premiere on August 8th on Starz."
He teased fans with: "We have a sneaky feeling that you all might have some theories to talk about after that episode."
