Argos shoppers rush to grab very cheap iPads as 'lowest price ever' confirmed

If you fancy a shiny new iPad on your lap but can't bear to look at the price, a new Argos deal might surprise you. The UK retailer is still stocking the top-rated iPad (2022) model and is selling it for just £269 (it was priced at £499 at launch!). That low cost is clearly grabbing the attention of Apple fans, with Argos confirming that it's currently their number one best seller.
Of course, this tablet was recently superseded by the latest iPad (2025), but that newer gadget costs over £325. It is slightly faster than before and has more internal storage, but it looks and feels identical to its now cheaper predecessor.
Most retailers, including Apple, no longer sell the iPad (2022), but as long as you act before stock runs out, you can grab one now at Argos.
As a quick reminder, this popular tablet from Apple features a 10.9-inch display with True Tone technology for a better viewing experience.
It's powered by the A14 Bionic chip, features a 12MP Wide back camera and will keep on going for around 10 hours before needing refill plus there's fast charging when things do run flat.
There are four colours to choose from, including Pink, Blue and Yellow, and it appears to be in stock at most stores.

If you are more of an Android fan, then Samsung has a tempting offer that might entice you away from Apple.
The Korean technology giant is currently dishing out its new Galaxy Tab S10 FE for £499 but is throwing in a keyboard case for free.
This device gets a 10.9-inch 90Hz panel, Exynos 1580 processor, a stylus in the box and smart AI upgrades
