Michigan: Man enters supermarket and stabs 11 people

A man stabbed several people at a supermarket in Michigan. Many people were seen fleeing. The attack occurred at a Walmart store in Traverse City, in the northern Midwestern state. The man has been arrested. Michigan State Police said the local sheriff is investigating the incident and did not provide further details. Law enforcement has asked residents to avoid the area. Walmart spokesman Joe Pennington said in a statement to the media that the company is "cooperating with police."
