CEI Secretary-General Franco Dal Mas meets with Ambassador Gabriela Dancău in Rome

The Secretary General of the Central European Initiative (CEI), Franco Dal Mas, met today with the Romanian Ambassador to Italy, Gabriela Dancău, at the Romanian Embassy in Rome.

During the cordial meeting, the main issues related to regional cooperation in Europe were addressed.

The conversation also provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on the enlargement of the European Union to include non-EU CEI countries and on support for Ukraine, also following the Rome Conference URC25, in which CEI actively participated.

Considerable attention was given to promoting new projects and joint action lines, in line with the CEI's objectives of strengthening regional cohesion and transnational cooperation among member countries.

The meeting finally touched on some topics of international interest, such as the IMEC (India-Middle East-Europe Corridor), which also represents a driving force for connectivity in Europe.
