“Our vision is clear: to put people at the center, recognize and enhance their uniqueness, and create a work environment where everyone can express their potential,” said Pierluigi Sassi , CEO of Timac Agro Italia. “Signing the equal opportunities charter is an act consistent with this commitment.”
The Charter of Equal Opportunities and Equality at Work is a voluntary and concrete declaration of intent, promoted in Italy by Fondazione Sodalitas, the first organization in the country to promote corporate sustainability, with the support of the European Union. The aim of the charter is to spread an inclusive culture in the workplace, encouraging companies to implement corporate policies that promote equal opportunities and the valorization of diversity in all its forms.
In this perspective, the signatory organizations undertake to introduce and promote a series of good practices to make the workplace increasingly fair and welcoming. These include the adoption of fair and transparent criteria in selection and career processes, the promotion of equal pay , attention to work-life balance , and the dissemination of training courses aimed at raising awareness among managers and collaborators on the issues of inclusion. Particular attention is dedicated to combating all forms of discrimination, direct or indirect, and to the valorization of different talents and perspectives, recognized as an opportunity for growth for the entire organization.
Adherence to the charter also represents an opportunity for Timac Agro Italia to strengthen its commitment to female empowerment , promoting the active participation and professional growth of women within the company. This occurs through the activation of targeted initiatives and the continuous monitoring of indicators related to female representation at various organizational levels, with the aim of ensuring equal, real and concrete opportunities.
As evidence of its concrete commitment, Timac Agro Italia participated on 29 and 30 April in Brussels at the official event promoted by the European Commission on the occasion of Diversity Month , a moment of international discussion between companies, bodies and institutions that have signed the Charter, dedicated to the exchange of good practices and the strengthening of inclusion policies in the workplace.
With this membership, Timac Agro Italia confirms its commitment to building an inclusive future , in which the valorization of people is a key lever for innovation and competitiveness.
