Mr. Beast claims he asked the Mayan gods for permission before climbing the pyramids.

Archaeological TikTok - Mr. Beast has already clarified that he asked the Mayan gods for permission before entering an archaeological site in our country.
Following the controversy caused by the YouTuber's footage broadcasting from the top of some pyramids, he denied that he had climbed without permission, arguing that the Mayan gods themselves had given him the green light.
“First I asked if I could go up, and since no lightning struck, I took it as a yes,” Beast explained in a video in which he also tagged the INAH.

Eyewitnesses claim that Jimmy Donaldson (as Mr. Beast's parents call him) performed a sort of ritual with LED lights, which included a dance in honor of Bonampak, and then threw $10,000 in counterfeit bills as "spiritual payment."
Mr. Beast wants to see how temple rituals work.“Before, we only encountered people who came to carry quartz during the solstice, but we hadn't heard of tourists filming with drones above ceremonial centers with Netflix-style productions,” lamented an archaeologist with a degree but no followers.

According to rumors, Mr. Beast is already preparing another video in some other restricted area, but this time accompanied by hundreds of his followers, who will emulate the dances of the extinct civilization, supposedly "to test the strength of the stone blocks."
For its part, the INAH has already offered him the opportunity to broadcast from the Estela de Luz, but on the condition that he does not return.
